This weekend, I treated myself to a manicure and pedicure. My local nail salon had Food Network airing. Watching Valerie Bertinelli make kale salad exposed me to a whole new way of blanching my kale by pouring the boiling water over the kale. I tried it Sunday and it worked perfectly.
I thought why not boil your eggs and use that water to blanch another batch of kale. It worked great!
