Ingredients
Quantity depends on how many jars you are making; I usually make about 3-6 jars at a time.
Dried fruit
Chia seeds
Old-fashioned oats
Maple syrup (I only use Vermont maple syrup, but that’s where I’m from)
Pumpkin Pie Spice
Unsweetened Almond Milk
Directions
Fill each pint sized mason jar with 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, a few pieces of dried fruit (if using cherries, use like 5 cherries; if using apricot or a larger fruit, chop and add just a couple tablespoons worth), 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, and 1/2 cup of oatmeal. Cover and shake to mix well so it looks like the jar below.
Then, pour about 1/2 tablespoon of maple syrup on top.
Then, you will pour the almond milk into each jar as shown in the below video. You will need to stir to incorporate.
Here is the finished product! Cover and refrigerate overnight. I enjoy a jar each morning about an hour and a half before I work out. If I am working out in the evening, I often make this my afternoon snack.
